My Mission:

As a Cancer Coach I hold a strong belief in my client’s capacity for change, honoring the fact that each client is an expert on their own life, and ensuring that our interactions are respectful and non-judgmental. I partner with clients seeking to enhance their well-being through self-directed, lasting changes, aligned with their values after cancer treatment has ended.

With the growing number of cancer survivors, there is a need to engage in maintaining a healthy body, mind and soul post treatment.  The key is having a guide who is committed to your unique journey.  As a cancer thriver, I have been drawn to help others transform into their new normal.  My challenges, hurdles, road blocks, roller coasters, and speed bumps have all led me to where I am today.

I love who I have become during this transition, however, I also wish I had known of a cancer coach post treatment.  Someone who understood what I was facing, because they had also been through the trials and tribulations of cancer.  Someone to gently guide, support, and challenge me, to help me find my new normal.

When the treatments stop, and the doctor appointments become less frequent, you are left feeling lost and isolated in a liminal space.

Liminal space is where all transformation takes place, if we learn to wait and let it form us.

“Where we are betwixt and between the familiar and the completely unknown. There alone is our old world left behind, while we are not yet sure of the new existence. That’s a good space where genuine newness can begin. Get there often and stay as long as you can by whatever means possible…This is the sacred space where the old world is able to fall apart, and a bigger world is revealed.”

We all want to feel good, lower our stress and anxiety, sleep better, and choose healthier and more nutritious foods once our treatment is completed.  However, the question we ask ourselves is “Where do I even begin?”   What happens?  Since we aren’t sure where to begin, we often take on too much and then fail at achieving any progress.  I know, I’ve been there, and more than once.

Getting to know our body and how it works so harmoniously, and then finding the right balance is key to operating at an optimum level so we feel good . . . mentally, emotionally and physically.

“It’s times like these that it helps to have a guide who's been there.  A guide committed to your unique journey.  A guide that can provide you with non-judgmental support, practical navigation, accountability, and insight to achieve goals, and create a healthy lifestyle.”

The Creation of Cancer Coach Beth’s Logo:

The butterfly is a visual representation of my journey to this place and time.  The butterfly is a symbol of transformation.  As cancer patients navigate their journeys they go through a metamorphosis and usually turn into something stronger and beautiful.

The semicolon is a symbol for the dark times where you are so lost that it causes feelings of hopelessness that make you question whether you continue to fight or submit to the darkness.
